2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Facilitate job applications and interview scheduling during PROCOM'26.
• Verify your eligibility as a student or company representative.
• Communicate important updates regarding the event.

3. Data Sharing Disclosure

Your data is shared with the following parties:

• Participating Companies: When you apply or join the talent pool, companies view your full profile and resume to evaluate you for recruitment.
• PROCOM'26 Organizers: The student organizing team has administrative access to manage the event and ensuring smooth operations.
• Sponsors & Partners (Recruiting/Reporting): If sponsors/partners are participating in recruitment, they may access candidate profiles and resumes/CVs. We may also share identifiable recruitment outcomes (e.g., applications, shortlist status, interview activity) with approved sponsors/partners for event reporting and recruitment coordination.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (like Supabase) to host and process data securely.

4. AI & Automated Processing

Currently, Job Orbit does not perform automated AI scoring of candidates. However, we may introduce AI-assisted features in the future (e.g., resume parsing, recommendation matching). If enabled, we will respect your consent preferences regarding these features.

5. Data Retention

We retain user data for the duration of the PROCOM'26 cycle and a period of up to 12 months thereafter to facilitate post-event hiring and analysis. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

6. Your Rights

• Access and correct your personal information.
• Request deletion of your profile.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing features.
